Medix Web Based Technologies

In this day and age, fast access to necessary information is an essential part of any service, especially while working in medicine. Review of medical information as well as imaging scans such as MRIs and CTs plays a central role in the Medix service. Unfortunately, the full imaging files are often too large to be sent via email which leads to time wasted waiting for delivery by post or courier.
Ensuring that our patients’ imaging is reviewed in an expedient manner is imperative for conveying a professional opinion in time and maintaining a high level of service. For this reason, Medix provides an easy and convenient File Transfer Service free of charge for the patient’s benefit.

Secure imaging upload service

Medix secure imaging upload service is a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) service that facilitates the transfer of files from the client directly to the Medix Case Manager in the shortest time possible. All that is required from you is to fill in your user and password provided to you by Medix Medical Services Europe Ltd. along with your name and email.
The files that you upload are immediately retrieved by a qualified Medix staff member and are subsequently removed for security purposes.

Electronic Medical Records

Imaging and any other medical information received by Medix is safely stored in our personalised Electronic Medical Records System. This system serves two main purposes; the first is making sure that your medical information is safely stored on a secure server and the second is creating a consolidated record of all your medical information to be called on upon need. IT and Quality Assurance staff are charged with the ongoing maintenance of our systems, ensuring our patients’ privacy and security.
